About the film: The Interrupters tells the moving and surprising stories of three Violence Interrupters who try to protect their Chicago communities from the violence they once employed.

I really want to see this film. Working at the community-level and representing a social service agency fighting sex trafficking of American girls, I’ve often been asked “what can I do to stop this exploitation in my community?” People want to know what they can do in their communities to prevent the cycles of violence and oppression. The organization Ceasefire in Chicago strives to be an answer.
